My Babies

My two favorite little people...all ready for a fun day at home!

 

 

Every Saturday I go to HyVee for a weeks worth of groceries.  Most of the time one or both kids go with me.  This past Saturday, with Wyatt and Ruthie in tow, I got groceries...and a big red balloon.  Now we've brought red balloons home from the store before...but rarely do they last more than a day.  This balloon, however, is a super balloon...it made it not only through these two playing with it...but is on the floor next to me now...still inflated...and it's Thursday night! 

My favorite thing about my two beautiful babies right now is how much they love each other.  Wyatt loves to make Ruthie laugh and Ruthie loves to giggle at Wyatt being silly.  I try to get as many videos of this time as I can, I want it to be something I can always remember. 

Sitting and Playing

5 months....already!

Miss Personality is now 5 months old!  She loves to smile and play peek a boo.

 

New accomplishments include...finding her feet....

 

Loving to play in the exersauser.....

Holding her own bottle at daycare....

 

And just today...sitting up by herself!  (once put in a sitting position)

 

Our little girl sure is growing up fast.  She also starting sleeping in her own crib this weekend....without the bassinet in there.  So far so good....two good nights of sleep with only one or two times of putting her back down!  Next up on the sleeping list.....Ruthie sleeping without the swaddle blanket!

This week...in pictures

This past week Ruthie discovered her feet...and just how amazing they are.  A few weeks ago she really started rolling from back to tummy.  She loves to show off to us whenever she is on the floor and perform this new 'trick'. 

 

 Since she is able to roll now it isn't safe for her to be in the bassinet.  So last week she slept in her own room for the first time.  She's still in the bassinet....in her crib....we are trying to transition her slowly....maybe this weekend we'll try sleeping in just the crib.

Wyatt had another big day this week, his last day of 3 year old preschool!  He's learned so much this year, I can't wait to see what next year brings!

 

 Flowers anyone?...

Brian had these flowers delivered to me at school last week.  It had been a particularly hard day... and these brightened up my day for several days.  Very thoughtful of him!

The Boys New Ride

Wyatt got one of the best things ever a few days ago....a bicycle!  He of course picked out a red one...his favorite color!

It didn't take him too long to get the hang of it!

 

He does have a helmet...I promise!
