Well it's that time of year...back to school! I went back on Monday and the students came back on Thursday. And no, I didn't get a first day of school picture taken like mom used to! The first week went really well...I hope it will be a great year!
I was worried about bringing Wyatt back to daycare, but surprisingly he was happy to be back. He had fun playing with Kathi's two daughters (Kathi's our daycare lady...who by the way I absolutely love!) before they started back to school and the other little ones there. I know other moms will agree with me when I say having a great daycare provider sure does make life so much nicer! Last year most of the kids were preschool age, but this year they are pretty little. Currently Wyatt is the youngest, but she will be getting a baby around fair time. It will be interesting to see how he does around an infant!

On the Move
Wyatt is now standing...I know...I can't believe it either!!! I think once he goes back to daycare on Monday and sees all of the other kids walking it won't be long until he is walking as well. He stands for ten to twenty seconds at a time and then sits down. His little legs just aren't strong enough yet. Walking...I'm not sure we are ready for that yet!
As I said earlier, Wyatt goes back to daycare on Monday....because I have to go back to work. I think I'm ready to go back, but I'm sure those first few days will be hard to part with him in the morning. However, it will be nice to spend most of my days with people who can hold up their end of a conversation...and not just babble at me!

Pacifiers
So I am trying to get Wyatt to sleep more consistently through the night....thus I have place three pacifiers in his crib....so he can always find one in the middle of the night. Well, the last few times I've taken him out of his crib he's got one in his mouth, one in his left hand, and one in his right hand.........It's quite the sight! He just doesn't want to let go. Eventually...with a little yanking he will part with two of them....and if you couldn't guess.....he keeps the one in his mouth!
