Today was one of those tough days in life where you have to say goodbye to someone you love dearly. Today my family said goodbye to my grandmother, Pat Day.
After battling cancer, twice, her journey here on Earth ended. We were lucky to be near her and my grandfather the last several months. We are even more lucky to have my grandfather near now so he can see our children grow up. They are already big fans of his handkerchief mice!
Some of my greatest memories of my Grandma Day involve one word....being hollered for all in the house to hear...."YAHTZEE." Grandma was the best Yahtzee player I know...no matter who she was playing with she loved to score big and scream it to all.She was also the best peanut butter fudge (sorry mom) and carmel popcorn maker.
Thanks to everyone who has supported and prayed for my grandparents and parents during this time.
